Glamazons, I’ve written many beauty tributes and stories about glam evolutions, but this particular tribute has captured a portion of my heart. Whitney Houston was more than a beautiful person with a beautiful face with magnificent bone structure, a beautiful body that even models envied, and a voice like no other– she was a beautiful soul. As I searched through images galore trying to find a spectrum of photos to give snapshots of her vivid life, I couldn’t help but notice the sincerity and conviction of one attribute she possessed that makeup and hair can’t give or take away; and that was her infectious smile.
Whitney’s smile could light up a room. It was the type of smile that captured the hearts of millions around the world. From her days as an ambitious, young girl singing in her Newark, N.J., church to a pop sensation, and eventually an international musical legend and icon, who was known as “The Voice,” one thing remained the same… her smile.
