Glamazons,
I love rocking cute summer trends just like the next Glamazon but living in super-expensive NYC, I have to learn to look glamazing on a budget. That means as much as I like shopping and amassing an extensive wardrobe, I need to know when to cut back and work with the cute clothes I already have.
Take my white skater dress for instance.
Upon first glance, it’s a stylish number in one of my favorite (and most flattering!) shapes in a summery color.
But with a little cleverness, I can turn it into an adorable short-sleeve blouse or a flirty pleated skirt. And that’s only the beginning!
Let’s count the ways, shall we?
I paired it with my new perfect coral t-strap sandals from Just Fab:
And added a yellow purse from H&M and my mirrored lens sunglasses for a cute, colorful look.
For the next outfit, I layered it under an African print skirt from Ghana (also worn here) and Zara ankle strap pumps (worn here, here and here):
I completed my look with a turquoise necklace:
Love a pop of color!
Finally, I tied my H&M plaid blouse on top, layered that under a denim jacket and added my H&M pink satchel (worn here and here) and nude flats for a casual look.
You would never know that’s the same dress, right?
