Glamazons,
I just realized I have a bit of a problem. As Glamazon reader, Kachet, pointed out on Instagram, I went to the Lilly Pulitzer for Target event wearing a Peter Pilotto for Target shirt and dress (and little did she know, I also had on the Altuzarra for Target trench and 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target bag). Addicted much?
I obviously love a good Target collaboration. I can’t say that I’ve worn every item regularly but most of my purchases have become wardrobe faves for the aesthetic and the quality.
Lilly Pulitzer for Target is another great collection though admittedly I didn’t get to shop it the way I usually do. They only allowed you to buy 5 pieces (tragic!) plus I couldn’t try anything on and by the time I left the red carpet (where I spotted DJ Kiss, below), most of the sheath dresses I had my eye on were gone. Le sigh.
Anyway, I did walk away with 2 clothing pieces I love, a weekender bag and some amazing home items. And guys, this time around, I’m more excited about the home items (I mean…there’s a hammock). I already asked if that makes me old on Snapchat (Add me – dressupwithjess!) and I have to say I’m fine with being old if it means I can collect these gorgeous plates and mugs. I plan to shop more when the line officially launches in Target stores and on Target.com this Sunday, April 19th.
Here’s the fit info on what I got so far:
The Challis Romper in Happy Place, $34, Target.com
OK I love the print on this romper but to be honest, that’s the only reason I’m keeping it. It doesn’t do anything amazing for my figure (hence why the model wore a belt, I believe).
But it could totally work with a white blazer and pumps, no? I’m normally a Medium (Size 6) and actually picked this up in a Small because that’s all that was left. Good thing, because it’s loose-fitting and runs big. A medium would be swimming on me!
The Strapless Maxi in Nosie Posey, $34, Also Available in Plus, Target.com
Love, love, love this piece! The print pops, it’s breezy and super comfortable. From the model pic, it appears the hem should stop above the ankles.
That’s not how I normally rock my maxis so I lucked out that only a large was left (a medium would’ve been too short and I’m 5’2″ on my tallest day, by the way).
I also tend to like my maxis more roomy. I’d size up in this if you can.
Of course, I splurged on home and accessories. I needed a weekender badly so I was so happy to pick up this bag for $50:
And my friends and I have already planned a tea party with the Cappuccino mugs and plates ($35 for set of 4) I got:

What are you planning to pick up when the line launches this Sunday, April 19th in Target stores and on Target.com, Glamazons?
Kisses,
Glamazon Jessica
No shade to the model but I gave that romper a second look after I saw you in it! Loooove it!
The maxi is on my list! What fabric is it?
Thanks for the review!! I need that maxi in my life; good to know that it’s short girl friendly! :)
Loving that maxi dress on you! FAB! Here’s my little review if anyone’s interested: http://fashionshouldbefun.blogspot.com/2015/04/lilly-pulitzer-for-target-review.html

How do the shift dresses fit? True to size or a little big?
