Glamazons, I capped off the #CaribbeanCrawl with a quick visit to Barbados. Rihanna‘s home country was the perfect bookend to our trip because the pace is decidedly slower and relaxed (which was much needed after Carnival!).
My first introduction to the crystal clear waters of Barbados was from the plane. After passing out as soon as I hit the seat, I woke up to see blue water outside my window the color of Michael Ealy‘s eyes. It was bright turquoise and clear, unlike anything I’ve ever seen.
The land is just as beautiful. Candy-colored houses, palm tree-lined streets, lush greenery, beaches that stretch on endlessly. Everything looked like a postcard.
When you’re in a country that’s so picturesque, you have to experience it with a tour so you don’t miss a thing! We teamed up with Barbados Tourism Authority to take it all in.
We went on a tour of St. Johns Parish Church, Hacketon’s Cliff, Miami Beach and more.

Guys, if I hadn’t lived it, I’d totally be like: there’s no way those views are real. But they are, and even more breathtaking in person.
I totally encourage you to take the tour if you visit Barbados. Our tour guide, Winston, was the coolest. He waited for us while we swam in Miami beach and even dropped Christina off to the airport free of charge. Most importantly, he’s gracious, kind, patient and all-knowing when it comes to Bajan culture and history. What a great experience!
