Style Guide: How To Wear Combat Boots The Chic Way

When I was rattling off styles that proved the nineties were officially back, I forgot to mention combat boots! I don’t know how I managed that one, like I haven’t been living in them. I wear them with leggings, skirts, dresses, even shorts!

I say all of these to say that combat boots are more versatile than you may think. Just take a look at some of our fave stylish ladies.

Try combat boots with leggings.

A chic yet comfy option is to throw them on with leggings with a long tunic or sweater.

Toughen up a dress.

My favorite way to toughen up a super girly dress like something floral or lacy is to pair it with combat boots.

Wear them with short shorts.

Tone down the sexiness of a pair of short shorts with something masculine like combat boots, and if its cold, tights.

Tuck into jeans.

You most certainly can pair these boots with your favorite pair of skinnies. I prefer to wear black skinnies with black boots, so I look taller.

Are you ready to go to battle with your wardrobe (hehe, I couldn’t resist)?

xoxo,

Glamazon Channing

I love combat boots because they can match with various casual fashion trends. For example, you can wear combat boots with denim shorts , wear them with a casual short dress, wear them with skinny jeans, you even wear them with a short denim skirt. But i don't know the difference between combat boots and military boots.
