If you know anything about me, you know there’s no island in the Caribbean that I won’t visit. But Turks & Caicos is a special, one-of-a-kind experience. I’ve been twice, and it’s a destination I’ll definitely frequent in the future — can’t say that for every trip I’ve been on, of course. Why? Well, to me, it’s the perfect mix of white-sand beaches, spectacular views, luxurious resorts, delicious food, and vibrant nightlife. It has everything. Some islands have the idyllic landscape but not the social scene (this is the Bahamas for me) or they’ll have a great party scene but you have to search a little harder for a gorgeous place to stay (my experience in Mexico). Turks & Caicos checks all my boxes so keep scrolling for why it’s a must visit while I mentally plan my next trip there.

Where To Stay in Turks & Caicos

Where To Stay in Turks & Caicos: The Shore Club

Once I saw Kandi Burruss visit The Shore Club in Turks & Caicos, and lived vicariously through her trip on Instagram, I knew I had to stay there. The lavish resort has every amenity you could want, from the Dune Spa where I got the most amazing massage to four pools (including adult-only, a lap pool, and a family-friendly option). It’s situated right on Long Bay Beach which truly feels like Paradise with its white-sand stretches and crystal-blue waters. But let’s get into the accommodations.

I stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a study. It had a fully-furnished balcony overlooking the ocean on one side and the pool on another. No surprise, I especially loved the standalone soaking tub in my bedroom — the perfect way to unwind every night.

The Shore Club Villas

The villas were even more lavish. I took a tour and let me tell you guys — I dream of those 8,800-square-feet slices of heaven. The oceanfront properties feature a private pool and whirlpool, a sauna in the primary bedroom, a secluded courtyard, and more. The villa rental package also includes a private butler, fast-track arrival/departure at the airport (so you don’t have to wait in the long custom lines), and a personal beach-lounge area. You can add on a private chef, private yoga, car rentals, the works. The villas are comprised of 6 bedrooms and can house up to 14 guests. My dream is to go back with my family and just live in that sauna!

The food in Turks & Caicos is really top tier, I didn’t have a bad meal. One of the most memorable dinners was at the Vita Restaurant at Rockhouse Resort, one of the Leading Hotels of the World. The views of Grace Bay Beach were absolutely stunning — you should definitely book a time so you can catch the sunset, it will take your breath away. I absolutely loved the food, from the snapper to the chocolate cake I had for dessert (to celebrate my birthday).

Where To Party in Turks & Caicos

OK though my friends often drag me to nightclubs, it’s not my favorite thing to do on the planet, I have to be honest. BUT I am a big fan of day parties and Turks & Caicos happens to have an amazing one at Noah’s Ark.

It’s a floating soiree in the middle of the water (you have to pay for a boat taxi there or you can rent a boat and just dock next to the party). They have delicious food, an endless supply of drinks, and the music was amazing. You can also take a break from the party and jump in the water, which is my preferred way to enjoy the scenery. Also, there are plenty of celebrity sightings, as you can see in my TikTok below haha. It’s a must visit if you go to Turks & Caicos.
