Can I tell you a secret? I feel the same way about shorts that I do about pants. Yeah, I don’t love them.
Skirts are so girly, fun and, err, freeing while shorts are uncomfortable and can look terribly awkward. But these Forever 21 shorts are were too fabulous to pass up because of my fear of shorts.
They are floral print, bright and high-waisted so your legs look lightyears long (even if you’re short like I am).
Legs are the last thing to go so I show them off with abandon, though the rule of thumb is to be covered up top if you’ll let the legs out (I swear this is chapter no. 2 in the book of dressing like a lady).
To that end, I dressed my shorts up with a blazer, a chambray shirt and heels.
And about those heels, leopard shoes just send me, Glamazons! They’re the new neutral.
