I try to buy my luxury shoes discounted whenever possible but I sometimes splurge when the shoes are really, really beautiful — like the gorgeous Christian Louboutin leopard pumps above. Now, there are several ways I can arrive at enough money to justify a big purchase like that: (1) winning the lottery (2) writing 5 thousand freelance articles to recoup the money (3) taking a side job as Jada Pinkett-Smith‘s stunt double (I kid) (4) selling things I already have…and don’t use!
I usually choose the fourth option (and sometimes the second) because I literally have a million things collecting dust in my room as we speak. One of those things is my old phone. When you upgrade, if you don’t turn in your old phone, it just sits in your drawer indefinitely. And that’s pitiful, because it’s actually worth something.
That’s like having a wad of cash just sitting in your drawer — what self-respecting Glamazon does that?! Especially when the cash you get if you sell your phone could be a new, better phone (hello, iPhone5!) or a drool-worthy pair of shoes or an international trip or a Spring wardrobe…I could go on.
Enter the sell your phone tool on eBay. You can take something no longer valuable to you, sell it to someone else (without the headache, the process is pretty seamless) and boom – you have money to put toward the stuff you actually want. It’s brilliant, really.
And it seems like more people are selling their phones on eBay everyday. In fact, a cell phone is sold on there every 4 seconds. Like, five phones in the time it took to read this post. Can you even?!
