Well, Mommy Delicious (ahem, cute blog name!), knee-length pencil skirts are that one wardrobe staple that will never go out of style. Sexy enough to wow on a date and long enough to work in the office, knee-length pencil skirts are versatile, perennially chic and almost universally flattering.

When it comes to styling pencil skirts for a day or night look, the options are near endless. Check out the picture below with pencil skirt looks for (from left to right) date night, office hours, a formal affair, wine and cheese, party hopping!

Some tips:

-Pencil skirts with a bit of stretch (lycra) or lame skirts are perfect for your social outings (think parties and dates) while textured pieces made out of wool, tweed and even leather are suitable for the office.

-A defined waist, through belts or cinched blouses, give you a sexy silhouette when paired with pencil skirts.

-Since pencil skirts usually graze the knee, heels go along way in lengthening the legs and creating a slimmer frame. If you’re going for the casual look, opt for a pair of cute wedges.
