It’s Christmas tiiiiime agaiiiin, can’t wait to hear those sleigh bellllss riiiingiiing, just close your eyes and pretend I’m Ashanti singing to you. Wait. Don’t. I want to talk to you. My point was, this time of year means the return of the office holiday party. Word to The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl.
Isn’t that hilarious? Now, all awkwardness aside, you need to look glamazing. Let’s get a few things out of the way though, that are inappropriate for this occasion. Too much cleavage, towering stilettos, anything too sheer or casual, holiday sweaters and or colors, and lastly, freakum dresses are not ok for this party.
What should you wear? A small dose of sequins, a cocktail dress, snazzy pants or statement baubles. Below are some examples that are illustrate exactly what I mean:
