You already know that I traveled to Atlanta this week for the Boutique Crawl with Lincoln Motor Company. What I love about their press trips — besides the beautiful cars (one look at the Lincoln MKC in Tahitian pearl purple and you’ll fall in love) — is the lodging. It’s always top of the line.
We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Atlanta’s ritzy Buckhead neighborhood, and the digs were nothing short of extraordinary. The decor in the bedroom was warm and inviting, and I had the best sleep of my adult life on that bed:
But I especially loved the huge bathroom. The sink area was massive, there was a standalone shower and a hot tub with a TV above it. I wasted no time luxuriating in it while reading Gone Girl a la Olivia Pope and watching television. It was exactly the relaxation I needed.
I even ordered room service and the wait staff was super accommodating and friendly. And get into my breakfast:
Isn’t it pretty?! They have an indoor pool, spa and fitness center. I’d definitely recommend the hotel if you’re visiting the Atlanta area and want a relaxing getaway from busy (city) life.
Speaking of the city, I like to think of my outfit as city girl meets Southern belle. The leather jacket and black crop top was all downtown NYC, but the red ball skirt, ornate bib necklace and sparkly flats were total Southern belle material, right?! And about those sparkly flats, I picked them up from Zara and they’re just as pretty and glamorous as heels to me. Love them!
