What I Wore: Florals in The French Quarter

Glamazons,

I live for the party on Bourbon Street but the romantic in me comes alive in the surrounding streets that make up the French Quarter.

Like Decatur Street.

The colorful walls, idyllic courtyards and lacy wrought iron balconies are just dreamy.

I feel most romantic in florals, a sweeping maxidress and a free-flowing afro, so I figured it’d be the best look to wear to get lost in the French Quarter…

After we walked around the neighborhood, we had a few laughs over beignets from Cafe Du Monde while people-watching:

I always dance in my seat after I eat (been doing that since I was a child, apparently) so the live band playing on the street was a dream come true. *shimmies*

Don’t you love New Orleans, Glamazons? If you haven’t been, check out four reasons why I think it’s worth the trip. If you have, what’s your favorite thing to do in the French Quarter? Tell me in the comments.
