Hey lovelies! So, it’s officially New Year’s Eve and it’s time to get into celebration mode. Regardless of your plans we’ve got some tips on how you can look lovely on any scene.
1. Glitz up your nails!
If you’re not really in the mood to be too over-the-top with your NYE beauty look, go all out with an eye-catching nail color. 2. Take your lip color to another dimension.
We’ve already introduced you to lipstick tattoos by Violent Lips, (now available at Sephora) and although they may not be ideal for every day wear, they’re perfect for a party occasion like NYE. You can paint your pout with glittery shades, leopard print, or a fun checkerboard pattern like Kim Kardashian. If you’re in more of a conservative atmosphere you can never go wrong with minimal makeup and a bold red lip.
3. Don’t shy away from dramatic eye makeup.
I mean, it’s New Year’s Eve so you might as well go hard or go home. This is the time to pull out the stops with popping eyeshadow and dramatic eyeliner. Don’t be afraid to give your eyes the cat-eye look, don a silver and black smokey eye or throw on some false lush looking lashes. It’s all about setting the tone for your beauty resolutions for the new year.
4. Be wild and free with big curly hair (or sweep it in a playful pony) to avoid sweating your style out if you’re at a crowded party.
A flirty topknot, side pony, or a braid are also great option to be classy, cute, or to even flaunt your inner vixen.
5. For those of you who love a gorgeous complexion, give your foundation a golden glow.
Pull out the bronzer and hit that T-zone and those cheeks. You’ll look luminous, fresh faced and effortlessly gorge the entire night; and before you know it you’ll be counting down to 10, while looking like a 10!
