Glamazons, when you were younger did you imagine how your wedding day would be once found the guy of your dreams? I definitely did! If so, what did you envision your dress would be like? Long and flowing, short and simple….? Have you always wanted a classic white gown or have you always imagined stepping outside the box in a different color…maybe pink, for example? Here’s one cover you probably never considered: black!
Fashion icon Vera Wang, known for her gorgeous wedding gowns ( ie. Kim Kardashian‘s Wedding, Beyonce “Best I Never Had” video, Alicia Keys’ Wedding), debuted an assortment of elegant black and nude wedding gowns filled with lace, silk and tulle during Bridal Fashion Week. And they are stunning!
This is certainly a first. While many may associate “black” with funerals and would be hesitant to rock it for their wedding day, there’s no denying the pure elegance and beauty of these one-of-a-kind dresses, don’t you think?!
I’d personally consider wearing a black wedding gown to my future wedding if it’s gorgeous and matches my sense of flare. After all, a white wedding gown isn’t traditional all over the world. You’d be surprised by how many people wear black and even red formal outfits on their special day in other countries.
