Hair freedom is close to my heart so I’m all about the first annual National Hair Revolution Day (presented by Strength of Nature, the brand behind Elasta QP, Beautiful Textures, African Pride and more). Taking place on April 26th during the World Natural Hair Show in Atlanta this weekend, the holiday was created to empower women to wear their hair as they please and to celebrate our diverse and limitless beauty.
I think every woman should feel liberated to style her hair how she wants whether that means rocking curls, locs, extensions, relaxed hair or heat-styled hair. The new holiday encourages that kind of freedom by asking women to share their unique hair pictures with the hashtag #MyHairRevolution.
