Get excited, Glamazons: it’s Memorial Day Weekend! I always use the long weekend to get out of the city and head toward sunshine, water and good food. This year, I’m jetting to one of my favorite cities, New Orleans, to throw down, dance on Bourbon Street and walk along the French quarter. So excited! Travel
When jet-setting to your Memorial Day Weekend destination, you want to be as comfortable as possible. A breezy maxi dress and flats that are easy to slide off for security will do the trick. I always love to bring a denim jacket to throw on if the air conditioning on the plane gets too chilly, and to peel off when I step out of the airport into warmer temperatures.

Beach
Beach days are a dream come true during vacation. What’s more relaxing than sun, sand and sea? Hit the beach in a sexy one piece suit and a gorgeous coverup. Bring along a floppy hat and cat-eye shades to shield you from the hot sun and throw your essentials in a cute beach tote.
You don’t have to do away with jewelry completely: a body chain and ring are completely appropriate for the beach. And finally, SPF is essential for beach days. Love Hawaiian Tropic!

Day
I love packing outfits that only require one piece (i.e. dresses or jumpsuits) to help make room in my suitcase. They’re also so easy to throw on and go. For day, a jumpsuit is the perfect go-to piece. Accessorize with a fedora to shade you from the sun, flats, a necklace and a pair of shades. For especially hot destinations, I never go without a bottle of water or Evian spray. Burning up without water in sight is not fun (take it from me).

Night
I enjoy hitting the club while on vacation. There’s nothing sexier than showing off a new tan in a cute summer-ready dress. Throw your belongings in an oversized clutch and rock a pair of platforms (they’re more comfortable than single sole pumps). Lastly, a pop of color on the lips and nails will look beautiful against your sun-kissed skin.
