As always, Fashion Week is off to a fabulous start with the first show of the week: Heart Truth. Always an excitement (last year, Heidi Klum and Kim Kardashian took the show), this year was even more special with musical icons hitting the catwalk—and even a performance on the runway!
Sitting in the fourth row, I got to see the beautiful gowns up close—and the equally gorg celebs who shimmied, twirled and worked the catwalk like pros.
My faves? Patti LaBelle of course who captivated the cheering audience in Zang Toi as she stormed the catwalk like a Queen to “New Attitude.” Walking to Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel,” Taraji P. Henson looked oh so sexy in glittery Naeem Khan. Dita von Teese gave me the best diva moment of the night (next to Patti) draping her famous curves in Zac Posen and walking out to “Groove is in the Heart.” You know I had to put my camera down and dance to that! And finally, Natasha Bedingfield not only hit the runway, but performed, in Nicole Miller and Swarovski. Fun times!
