Glamazons,
Trick question: which season are we in right now? Yeah…I don’t know either. The weather is all over the place which means you have to dress for two seasons at once.
Since my heart is still in Miami, I layered a Marilyn Monroe t-shirt from a random shop in South Beach under my Zara blazer with leather sleeves (also worn here).
I pulled out the new Forever 21 striped pencil skirt I’ve been dying to wear. After reading this post on transitioning to Spring, I realized I could make it work for cold weather with tights underneath.
I swear, living in New York City will force you to get creative with your clothing, Glamazons.
Marilyn Monroe never had to dress for the cold — where did she live?! Wasn’t she always in halter dresses and high waisted bikinis or is that just me?
Anyway, what pieces do you rely on to help transition your wardrobe to Spring? And what do you think of my look? Tell me in the comments.
Blazer: Zara (Old but love this one) | Top: South Beach Souvenir Shop (Old but love this one) | Skirt: Forever 21 | Tights: Spanx | Oxfords: JustFab | Lipstick: MAC Cosmetics Cyber
Kisses,
Glamazon Jessica
Love your outfit and love, love the blazer! Sucks that this weather is all over the place! I can’t wait for it to be consistent and warm!! I need my crop tops in my life!
Aww thanks Lex! I’m working out now to step my crop top game up. Maybe if I start wearing them now Spring will come, lol and smh.
