Peplum has always had a theatrical element to me that made me shy away from wearing it in real life. I think I was scared that I would look like I was in a Tim Burton movie. Either way, this is one trend that I have never had the pleasure of indulging in. Until now that is, after seeing some of my favorite–and not to mention–glamazing celebrities wearing peplum, I’m like wear do I sign up?!
No but seriously, how awesome do Kate Middleton, Olivia Palermo, Blake Lively, Charlize Theron and Rooney Mara look wearing peplum? It’s amazing what peplum can do for your figure, accenting your waist for an hourglass silhouette. And there are so many different ways to wear it from a dress like Kate Middleton and Blake Lively to a top like Olivia Palermo and Rooney Mara!
Don’t you want to give it a shot? Well, I hope so because that was the plan. So go on, shop, and be merry in peplum.
