Glamazons,
I’m in Los Angeles for “An Evening of Style” event hosted by Nia Long along with Lincoln Motor Company and Automotive Rhythms. I can’t tell you how much I needed the getaway and how fun/exciting/glamorous the actual event was. Actually, I can tell you but I’ll do it in another post (soon come!). I brought it up now because I feared, since the event was on a Thursday, I’d miss “Scandal.” Given how addicted I am, that would’ve been a travesty. But fate was in my favor. I made it home just in time to hear Shonda say “Previously on Scandal” to start the West Coast airing.
Sadly, I was ill-prepared for what was about to unfold. Last night’s episode came with tons of twists and turns that forever changed Quinn, Olivia, Olivia‘s Mom, Cyrus, James, and more. It was too much for me to handle, Glamazons, especially after a busy day of traveling and working. I spent the night rocking back and forth while playing Otis Redding “Try a Little Tenderness” on repeat. I need therapy.

Anyway, the one thing that gave me comfort this episode was Olivia‘s brilliant Dior houndstooth swing coat:
Lawd hammercy, she’s a beauty! As you know, I’m a huge fan of coats that move like dresses.
Liv paired it with a Chloe silk blouse, Armani high-waisted black wool pants, a Barja scarf, Gaspar leather gloves, a Prada bag and an Ippolita necklace.
