It’s no secret we’re obsessed with Rent the Runway, the site that lets you borrow expensive designer finds at discounted prices. Glamazon Jessica teamed up with them for New York Fashion Week last September and twirled in pieces by Clover Canyon (above) and Rachel Roy:
Then, RTR expanded to include plus size options from designers like Badgley Mischka, Adrianna Papell and Kay Unger:
They even teamed up with Beyonce, who handpicked dresses for us to rent just in time for the holidays:
And finally, they recently announced an Unlimited program, dubbed the “Netflix” of fashion renting, which lets you pay $75 a month for an endless rotation of designer accessories. What’s NOT to love?
Well, the premiere designer rental site just announced its best news yet: it’s opening its first brick and mortar store this September! The 1,700 square foot retail space is set to open September 3rd in NYC’s Flatiron district.
This is great news for ladies who were apprensive about renting items without being able to try them on – now you can! And the shop will also offer minor tailoring services just in case that hem is too long. How perfect!
