Glamazon Guide: My Favorite Red Lipsticks for Dark Skin

Can you believe there was a time when I didn’t think I could pull off red lips? I thought my skin was too dark and lips were too big to be able to pull off such a bold color. Now, it’s rare that you won’t find me throwing on a red lip just because. It’s beautiful on everybody (trust me on this).

Once I dipped my toe into red lipstick territory (initially with MAC Cosmetics Ruby Woo), it quickly became a bona fide obsession.

I’ve acquired red lippies from NARS Jungle Red and Stila Fiery, and I’m just getting started.

And matte is my thing! I wear it so much in fact I shared a few tips recently for nailing it. From a liner to keep it from running to primer to keep it from drying, I’ve learned quite a bit about making matte lipstick work just because I wear it so much.
