You should know up front that I am horrible with Social Media. I barely tweet or use my personal Facebook page (and I won’t even tell you that I just created a page for a blog, smh). But I do love me some Instragram, Tumblr and now, Pinterest. Those are right up my alley. I’m sure you’re all familiar with Instagram and use it to fill your Twitter/Tumblr/Facebook feeds with gorgeous photos multiple times a day.
Pinterest, though, is slightly different. It’s like a digital vision book. You can ‘pin’ articles, pictures, recipes, funny sayings for you to come back to at a later date. I like to pin pictures for outfit inspirations, books I want to read, nail polish I need to try, places I want to visit, women I admire, I could go on and on. The point is it serves as a virtual bulletin board. And now, you can use Pinterest to get more Glamazons in your life because we’ve joined, too! Check us out here.
But besides Glamazons Blog, here are five fashion folks/brands that you need to be following on the Pinterest, for a behind the scenes look at what makes them tick:
Street style, nails we need, DIY projects, inspiration – what more could a Fashion girl want?
2. Nina Garcia
From high fashion off the runway to the red carpet to Nina’s hostess picks, this is style at its most elegant. We are in awe!
Pics of the most beautiful fashion and beauty finds curated by the best in the business – you will spend days ooo and aah-ing over every ‘pin’ on Bergdorf’s page.
“Colorful” is the theme and Kate Spade has plenty of it with vibrant outfit ideas, decorative pieces and accessories that burst off the computer screen. LOVE!
5. Michael Kors
Michael Kors is a great designer but beyond that a renaissance man with exquisite taste, style and vision. Explore all of that, plus more, in this page, aptly described as “pins from the mind of Michael Kors.” How chic!
Just a forewarning, pinning is addictive. You could spend so much time on that website, if you’re not careful, just pinning away. I’m guilty of this, lol. Happy pinning!
Stay Stylish,
Glamazon Channing
