Spring is all about experimenting with color and prints and that’s exactly what Peter Som‘s Spring 2015 collection delivered. Fashion-forward onlookers, including actresses Willow Shields, Shay Mitchell, and Zoe Kazan, filled the seats of Milk Studios to witness statuesque models parade the runway in vivid floral prints and striped patterns.

With an array of playful sportswear looks mixed in with classic gowns, the designs embodied an Americana aesthetic. And we loved every minute of it!

Inspiration:

Peter Som‘s Spring 2015 collection was defined by bold prints and oversized stripes. Drawing inspiration from casual American style, the designer notes: “I was thinking about Pop Art and all-American optimism.” Replete with touches of black and white among a sea of olive green, the collection juxtaposed edgy menswear with laidback transitional pieces fit for the everyday woman.

Makeup artist Yadim opted for a high-impact look with neon liner, barely-there lipstick and pale cheeks to further push the “art pop” theme. Hair was styled by Eugene Souleiman into a sleek braid with a chic side part for a “classy yet masculine” look.
