When I was invited to a Pepsi capsule collection event last week, I had no idea what to expect. But I’m so glad I went to the soiree, held at Bloomingdales on 59th Street. I was able to see two talented artists paint a window display live and I found the loafers of my dreams! But let’s start at the beginning.
I was welcomed with a mimosa to the unveiling of Pepsi‘s first-ever “Live for Now” Capsule Collection, a 60-piece limited-edition line of streetwear, electronics, baseball caps, accessories and even skateboards. The famous beverage company tapped brands like B&O Play, Gents, Original Penguin, Shut NYC, Del Toro and GoodLife to create pieces with graphics inspired by 6 renowned artists.
From headphones to streetwear to skateboards, the collection yielded a ton of cool finds in Pepsi‘s classic colors! Check them out:
My favorite line was by Del Toro. No surprise there as I’ve been obsessed with their Emoji loafers for weeks. I especially loved the $365 ‘Hattie’ black and white loafers…
…but all of Del Toro‘s shoes for the Pepsi Capsule Collection are supercool. Shop them below:

In. Love!
The featured artists (behind those fun graphics) are Hattie Stewart, Nicholas Romero, Franco Fasoli, Zosen Bandido, Ricardo Akn, and Merijn Hos. Each artist took over a window at Bloomingdales‘ famous 59th street location to paint their own display. I had the pleasure of watching Hattie Stewart and Jaz (Franco Fasoli) paint live.
It felt like such a cool New York City moment. With their headphones in, Hattie (and her amazing bow hair!) and Jaz got to work creating beautiful displays while a crowd watched and passerbys stopped to take in the scene. We loved it so much we stayed to watch even in the rain!
