If the beauty look created backstage at BCBG Max Azria’s Fall 2011 show is any indication, then a fresh (yet glam!) makeup look isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. I personally like to call this the “nude beauty look” even though there’s really nothing nude about it when you’re actually applying the products to your face. But, from far away (and to the non-beauty junkie eye) this is exactly what it looks like. I think the most work that goes into this look would definitely have to be the fab (nude) smokey eye. Maybelline New York Global Makeup Artist Charlotte Willer described the looks as “20’s meets 70’s.”
“Glamorous eyes take center stage against an otherwise natural beauty look,” Charlotte said.
Luckily, Charlotte shared tips on how you can create this whole look at home (using Maybelline products, of course!)
-Using your hands, apply the Fit Me! Foundation all over the face and neck. Then, apply the corresponding shade of Fit Me! Pressed Powder on top.
-Fill in the brows with the Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil. Add volume with a brush so they appear more natural.
-To create the eye look, Charlotte used a new Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow in Give Me Gold. Start by applying the golden white shade to the inner corners of the eyes and a darker brown shade to the crease. A neutral gold shade was used to highlight the brow bone.
-Charlotte then applied another new product for Fall 2011 called Baked Blush in Pressworthy Pink onto the apples of the cheek and blended until almost sheer.
-She finished the look by prepping the lips with a dab of lip balm and then applying the Color Sensational Pearls Lipcolor in So Pearly.

Gorge right?! I love this look. What do you think of it, Glamazons?
