Glamazons!!
I get really excited about new talent (can you tell?) and Michael Costello‘s collection of show-stopping gowns at New York Fashion Week blew me away. The “Project Runway” alum sent a parade of dramatic dresses down the runway with billowing hems and sumptuous fabrics that are sure to make appearances on red carpets in 2015.
We’re sure Paris Hilton, who was snapped backstage, already has her heart set on a few of Michael‘s breathtaking dresses.
And fittingly, the man who dressed Beyonce for the Grammys threw in some plunging necklines and skintight silhouettes for breathlessly sexy gowns, perhaps inspired by “Partition.” Hmm…

Inspiration: Michael Costello has called his ideal client “a goddess,” adding “she’s the woman other women want to be.” And it felt like his new collection was tailor-made for her.
Key Pieces: Mermaid-hemmed gowns adorned with rich gold lame, teal strapless dresses with delicate florals, cobalt blue sateen gowns, sheer embellished dresses with plunging necklines, a spectacular textured navy dress with a billowing high-low hem, a black lace stunner with Victorian-inspired sleeves that reminded us of his costume for Beyonce‘s “On The Run” tour. Accessories included regal crowns, and the models wore minimal makeup and sleek hair to keep the spotlight on the designs.

I don’t know about you Glamazons, but I think Michael Costello hit a home run with this collection! I love that he’s bringing drama back to the runway. What’d you think of the line?
