To be honest, the first time I saw a skirt with a high-low hem, I said it looked like a mullet. I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about them, but I must say that the trend has grown on me.
I loved the way Rihanna rocked her short-long Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony skirt just as easily as Lala rocked her Laquan Smith dress with the same high-low hemline.
So clearly, this is trend that works for just about every occasion.
Selena Gomez dressed it up and Jessica Alba went casual in the maxi skirt version.
So…I think I’m sold and will be adding a piece with a high-low hem to my closet very soon. You might want to add something to your closet as well, considering this trend looks like it will last will into the summer, if you want to give it a try.
