So Glamazons, I don’t know if you were aware but I am a Monster. From Lady Gaga’s pop hits to her obsession with outlandish fashion, there are few stars that entertain me more. (Sidenote, I’m not that short, she had on 6-inch platforms!)
I had the pleasure of meeting the international superstar (and her Mom!) while at my day job—and I have to say she’s totes warm, friendly and down-to-earth in person. It’s like she doesn’t even know she’s a star!
But the fashion industry, and the rest of the world, are completely enamored with her! She was loved dearly by the late Alexander McQueen and another rockstar designer, Jean Paul Gaultier, is fond of her as well. Proof? There he is below spanking her in a nun’s costume. Seriously.
Gaultier interviewed her for the film “Gaga by Gaultier” which will debut on the CW network on September 12th at 8PM EST during New York Fashion Week. The film explores Gaga’s imaginative approach to fashion and how she uses it to communicate to her fans in Gaultier’s Paris studio.
I love that Gaga and Gaultier are collaborating because they are both so full of creative energy and obsessed with all things theatrical. Gaga also wears his designs on the cover of Us Magazine’s Collectors’ issue.
