Fashion lovers, rejoice! It’s the start of the New York Fashion Week. This whirlwind experience is amazing and crazy but nerve-racking to say the least. Especially if you are attending NYFW to cover it.
The tricky thing about attending New York Fashion Week as a blogger or journalist is that you want to be comfortable enough to run all over the city, go backstage to get the deets, and last all day on your feet. And you want to look fashionable enough that you get snapped by a photog’s camera to end up on their Street Style list.
So what’s a gal or guy to do? Make sure you have the essentials. A trendy yet fashion-forward look. A statement shoe, necklace, dress or cuff (something that stands out and gets you noticed in a good way). A huge–yet stylish– bag to carry your phone, iPad, notebook, Flip Cam, chargers and possibly a laptop to get reviews up between shows.
