Glamazon Guide: Transition Your Summer Wardrobe Into Fall With Five Pieces

Fall is officially here this Friday, and I can’t wait. I love getting dressed in the fall especially looks that involved layering. That’s usually how I transition my summer wardrobe into a fall one. It’s really easy to update your look with these key pieces:

Tights

A really cost efficient way to keep wearing your summer skirts and dresses in the fall (as long as it isn’t an obvious sundress) is to throw on a pair of cute patterned or opaque tights. The options are unlimited and there is sure to be a pair or two to work seamlessly with your existing wardrobe.

Knee High Boots

Tights add a fun pop of personality but so do knee high boots. If you’re all for an alluring peek of leg, then knee high boots are perfect for fall before the weather gets too cold. Plus, they work equally well over skinny jeans, tights and leggings.

Cardigans

Cardis are a great way to layer before the weather breaks for good. You can pair a long sweater with leggings, tights, dresses and skirts. Or you can go for a shorter one and belt a la Michelle Obama. Either way, it’s a good look.

Anoraks

Consider the anorak the downtown version of a blazer. I know I do. I literally wear my anorak with jeans, leggings, dresses and skirts. You can dress it up or down, I promise.

Scarves

Another great transitional piece is a scarf. It can take the chill off of your neck and chest in the mornings and evenings when it’s extra breezy but works with all the above items mentioned and somehow ties the look together to make it look polished.

Happy Fall!

Stay Stylish,
