Glamazons, Father’s Day is coming up and I’m nowhere near finished shopping for my dad. Okay, I haven’t really started (don’t judge me). Stressed isn’t even the word. But there’s good reason for my procrastination. My dad is notoriously hard to shop for. What do you get the man who has spoiled you your entire life?! They are normally so busy putting their family’s needs first that they rarely take the time out to treat themselves. So getting him another pair of socks just won’t cut it. He needs something practical that will also put a smile on his face for years to come.
The best place to start is to think of something practical but special, something that shows a lot of thought and care for his particular interests and hobbies. You want a gift that’s well-suited to his lifestyle, but not an item that feels more tailored to a chore than a fun activity (i.e. ease up on the socks or lawnmowers as gifts).
For example, my Dad is really into gardening so some nice planters or a gift card to his favorite store to buy plant supplies would be the perfect gift. Does your Dad love sports? Perhaps a good live experience gift (for later down the line) could be a ticket to his favorite game.
If you’re in the same boat I am and scrambling for a last-minute Father’s Day gift, get into a few items I’m sure he’ll love. The good news? There’s a gift option at every price point, so you don’t have to break the bank. Win, win!
