What I Wore: Pearls and Stripes

One of the biggest trends for Spring is stripes, but I don’t think I ever stopped rocking them anyway.

The rules sometimes say horizontal stripes are unflattering but I never pay attention. I think they’re all cute. Especially sexy horizontal pencil skirts like this.

I love stripes because they mesh so seamlessly with every other trend. You can easily use them to mix prints like I did here or get some black and white stripes and pair them with a pop of color like this:

They’re trendy without trying too hard. And by the way, I live in this skater print dress because it’s roomy (it hides food babies) and serves legssss! YES!

Since Spring just refuses to come, I threw a yellow coat on top of my dress to keep warm in the most sunshine-y way. (Yes, I’m in denial so I figured I’d just dress like Spring is here).

Lastly, my new JustFab black and white pumps and my oldie but goodie ASOS sunglasses (also worn here) finished my look.
