Can you believe that Christian Louboutin has been creating those painful works of art he calls shoes for 20 years? Can you believe that? Would you also believe that the red sole started off as an accident? “Many years ago I was in my studio looking at a prototype, and there was something off. The sole was this big distracting mass of black. I grabbed a bottle of red nail polish from my assistant, who was painting her nails,” the Parisian designer told InStyle magazine.
And the rest was history. To celebrate being in business for 20 years, Mr. Louboutin is releasing a limited edition 2o-piece collection reviving his top styles.
