GLAM OR SHAM?: Rihanna’s Christian Louboutin Measuring Tape Sandals
I don’t know about you, but I love me some Rihanna! Her music is catchy and her unique style definitely shows her off confidence and attitude. If that’s not Glamazon material, I don’t know what is. I’m infatuated with Christian Louboutin shoes too, but just because a shoe has a red bottom, does not mean you have to rock it…which brings me to Rih’s latest outfit.
Along with getting a Tupac-inspired Thug Life tattoo on her knuckles, our fave fashion rebel was recently spotted in an interesting pair of Christian Louboutin sandals. Made out of measuring tape, the shoes feature a criss-cross ankle strap with an adjustable golden buckle. Take a look.
Having just celebrated his twentieth anniversary, it’s clear that French designer Christian Louboutin has truly taken over the fashion industry as his shoe brand can be found in the closet of any top-name celebrities. Known for beloved styles like the platform pump, Daffodil, Louboutin has truly pushed the envelope with the measuring tape sandals, showing a renewed sense of boldness and innovation in his designs.
Some of you may not be feeling the measuring tape look, but I guarantee you this isn’t going to be the only time you will see them.
