What I Wore: ASOS Round Sunglasses with Pearl Highbrow, H&M Polka Dot Blouse, Yellow Skirt and Zara High Heel Vamp Shoes

I’m a city girl through and through but the truth is sometimes, even Glamazons need a little nature in their lives. I love seeing the NY sun set in between sky-high buildings, walking through the cobble stone streets of the meat-packing district and getting swept up in the electrifying energy that lights up Time Square. But there are moments when even I need to get away.

And nothing soothes me like grass that stretches out for miles, stars that light up the clear night sky and good old fresh country air.

It makes me want to run through the fields a la Julie Andrews in “The Sound of Music.” I did just that yesterday in one of my favorite colors. Obvsi, yellow. (I told you I’d be wearing it OUT this summer).

I paired a yellow skirt with my H&M polka dot blouse tied at the waist for a super breezy, effortless look.

And I got really sassy with the accessories, rocking my new favorite Zara high heel vamp shoes (I live for an ankle strap moment!):

Aren’t they something amazing? I first fell in love with them on my boo Gabi Fresh‘s blog, and knew I needed a pair to get through summer:
