What I Wore: Almost Famous

Glamazons,

I make no apologies for loving all things metallic, pink and printed. A little color and shine keeps life interesting.

Most people scoff at the idea of metallic for day.

But it’s possible. And totally wearable. I swear. Especially around the holidays! You just pair it with basics in more neutral colors so you don’t look like colored tinfoil.

And try a fun silhouette like a skater skirt as opposed to a mini. Here are a few I love:

For basics, I prefer a blazer (dresses things up) and a graphic tee. This one, which is a new favorite, reads “Almost Famous.” How very appropriate. Metallics beg to be noticed.

Check out my fave graphic tanks:

Normally, I would balance the bold skirt with a simple pair of pumps. But I have a thing for shoes, so I couldn’t resist throwing on my Just Fab Venetta pumps in pink multi.

Printed pumps are actually more versatile than they look. I’m going to wear these with brights, neutral colors like black and white and darker hues like navy and gray. OK pretty much with everything.

Shop a few I love here:

If this look is too much for you, you can pair your metallic skirt with a subtle sweater, a chambray shirt or even a graphic sweatshirt. Have fun with it!

This is SO cute! I love the skirt and the shoes together. Just your style – posh but still fun/flirty. WERK honey!

Hey Jessica! I love those JustFab shoes. I just went to buy a pair thanks to this post but they were sold out in my size… Dang! Are there any other styles you would recommend that look similar?

On a side note I recently applied for a job posted on their LinkedIn page and am pretty stoked about it. Would be sweet to get early access to some of these styles :)
