Hey Glamazons!
As many of you know, I went natural as my 2011 New Year’s resolution and what an experience it has been! I’m relearning my hair as well as this whole new world of products, vocabulary (curl pattern, cowashing) and hairstyles.
I’ve been invited to share my experience as well as my thoughts on celeb news plus weaves, relaxers and wigs (I’ve worn it all!) at the “I Am Not My Hair” Women’s History Month panel event.
The event is on Saturday, March 26th from 4-6pm at Select Strands Showroom, 315 West 39th Street Suite 1104 (between 8th and 9th Avenues).
The panel is presented by COCOACHiC, hosted by Select Strands and sponsored by Mizani hair products. Joining me for the discussion are:
T.Bernie, Cosmetic Executive and Founder, COCOACHiC Beauty
Leatrice Carter, owner of Time Studio and Mizani team specialist
Keith Campbell, hair architect and celebrity stylist
Renae Bluitt, publicist at Crush Media/creator of In Her Shoes Blog
KJ Rose, BET Music Matters artist, recording artist and model

New York Glamazons, I would love for you to come out and support! The event promises to be a hilarious, informative and eye-opening panel and discussion that won’t disappoint.
See you there!
Kisses,
Coutura
Sounds like a fab event, and congrats on going natural! It's so fulfilling!
Hi, Jessica!
I went natural just two days ago. After a year, I took off my wig. I just made a frantic run to Sally's Beauty Supply, since it is a whole new world. I am believer in makeup, eyelashes, and a fro. Beauty all the way!
