When I think about summer fabulosity, multi-colored makeup and hair instantly come to mind. From pool parties and boat rides to rooftop socials and late-night frozen yogurt runs, the opportunities to flaunt different hairstyles during the summer is endless! . I don’t know about you, but I’ve already started playing around with some of my favorite celebrity-inspired styles! Keep reading to see how you can create the look.
Tantilizing Topknot
A style that can make any glam-conscious girl a beauty chameleon is a topknot. Whether you wear it sleek or messy, it’s a cute transition from day-to-night.
1- Slick hair into a high ponytail.
2- Take the top section of the hair and tease the ponytail
3- Wrap the teased hair around the ponytail and secure with a bobby pin
4- Pull pieces from the bun to achieve the shape that you want.
5- Finish with spray to tame flyaways.
What to use:
Wavy Side Ponytail
We’ve been crushing on sideswept styles such as fishtail braids, for a while now, but another cute look is a side ponytial with loose curls, which is a go-to style for summer days and nights.
1- Put a side part in hair and pull rest to the opposite side of where you want your bang to be in a loose ponytail. (If you have layers, you might want to use bobby pins to secure loose strands, but ditch them if you want more of a messy look.)
2- Take a 1-inch section of hair from the ponytail and wrap it around your ponytail holder or elastic and secure it with a bobby pin.
3- Use a 1-inch curling iron to curl sections of the hair in the ponytail away from the face.
4- Add a couple of curls to your bang using a flat iron or curling iron to enhance the look.
My version of the look:

It’s Wavy Baby!
Unleash your boho-glam side with sleek, loose waves.
1- Part hair down the middle and separate into two sections.
2- Starting at the nape of the neck on the left side, section hair into 1-inch sections and curl it away from the face using a 1-inch flat-iron. Work your way up to the top of the head.
3- Next move on to the right side and follow the same directions curling hair away from the face. (Tip: For shorter hair, you might want to use a 1-inch flat iron or 3/4 –inch curling iron for this look.)
4- Finish with holding spray. I’m a lover of all hair types and textures, so I love trying new looks. Here are a few flicks of me rocking some of my favorite summer styles.
