The Only Pieces You Need To Upgrade Your Work Wardrobe For Spring

Glamazons,

I don’t know about you but I feel like when Spring rolls around, it’s so much harder to find outfits for work. The minute I reach for warm weather pieces, the temps decide to drop and bam! It’s cold again.

And because my hectic schedule just doesn’t leave a lot of time for stressing over what to wear to work, I have to be creative and find new ways to upgrade my wardrobe — quick fast and in a hurry!

For the office, I want a look that’s appropriate for work but still functional enough to get me through the day. And let’s not even talk about layering inside the office when the AC is blasting, and shedding those same layers when it’s hot outside. Le struggle is real.

If you need help dressing for the office in the spring, here are the only 5 pieces you’ll need:

Floral Collar Dress

I live for vibrant prints and colors, and nothing says Spring like a floral dress! A collar skater dress is a ladylike option without being too fussy. Choose simple, classic accessories like a neutral cross body bag and pointy-toe pumps.

Pastel Midi Skirt

I’m really into rocking midi skirts this season. I practically lived in one every single day for the past few weeks. The silhouette is classy, feminine and flirty all rolled into one. Pair yours with a super cool leather jacket for a trendy look.

Sleeveless Vest

With its tailored silhouette and neutral color, a black sleeveless vest is a timeless wardrobe staple that can be worn with nearly any outfit. Opt for a print mini skirt and gold block heels for the ultimate boardroom statement.

Wide-Legged Trousers

A cool and stylish alternative to a skirt, wide-legged trousers are definitely having a moment. Because of the flared detail, choose a more fitted top and ultra chic accessories to pull it all together.

Bold Blazer

A bold blazer is such an easy way to incorporate color into your look. And it will help protect you against the elements. I love a red blazer because it commands attention but it’s still sophisticated. In a more creative office environment, let metallic pumps and a red lip take center stage.
