Overalls: Sears

Glamazons,

Don’t know if you knew this but I’m a Taurus, and I hear that means I’m bad at letting go of things. If you got one good look at my shoe collection, you’d agree I have a problem with letting go (hoarding is an understatement). But that’s one of the things I love most about fashion: it’s cyclical. I never have to truly part with a trend I love, because if I wait long enough, it’ll come back in style. Such is the case with one of my fave looks from the ‘90s: overalls! Who DIDN’T have overalls in the ‘90s? I wore mine super baggy with one strap hanging off (and yes, some things never change) — paired with a logo tee underneath, of course. I was kind of a tomboy then!

I have to say, I’m much more into the current style: fitted overalls rolled up at the cuff so you can pair them with heels. I looked everywhere for a pair, and found them at Sears! I honestly never wear denim but I loved the fit of these and the light wash (so chic!). I added a feminine twist with red pumps and made the look modern by mixing prints (plaid and stripes!). Still a ‘90s girl at heart, but a little more grownup now.

What do you think of my look, Glamazons? What’s the old school trend you can’t part with? Tell me in the comments.

Kisses,

Glamazon Jessica
