Glamazons,
Next to Christmas, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It’s all about the food. I can’t help it. I absolutely love to eat. Plus, I get to spend time with my family. What’s better than that?
With all the food, love and friendship on Turkey Day, the last thing you want to be worried about is fashion. You want to find the balance between comfort and style.
Here are some tips for finding the best look:
-Try darker shades like black, navy and burgundy. The darker hues can help camouflage your tummy after your big meal.
-If you want to play with color, stick with a fall color palette like orange, green, and tan.
-I love heels and for the most part, I can stand the pain when these toes get to barking but if you’d prefer flats on T-day, go for a cute riding boot or ballet flats.
For added inspiration, check out these looks below for every type of dinner:
Family Thanksgiving
For a lowkey Turkey Day, coated jeans with a bit of stretch, a comfy sweater and flat boots are the epitome of laidback style.

Friendsgiving
Go a little trendier for dinner with friends like a grid print sweater layered under a button-down shirt, boyfriend jeans and flats (or pumps if you’re in the mood).

Meeting Your Boyfriend’s Parents
To meet your boyfriend’s parents or have dinner with the in-laws, an A-line dress will give you room in the tummy area while still looking polished. A cape coat, luxe satchel and booties (or flats) will tie your look together.

Thanksgiving at a Restaurant
A skater dress is stylish while still concealing your growing food baby (lol). A coat with leather sleeves and fun pumps (or flats) will add a trendy flair.

Glamazons, what are your Thanksgiving plans? What look are you going for?
Fashionably yours,
Glamazon Jamiese
