I’m falling apart.
I could barely sleep last night. Why, you ask?
Well, I have no idea what will happen to Queen Mother Olivia Pope. Is her life in danger? Is her reputation damaged beyond repair? Is OPA (Olivia Pope & Associates for non-gladiators) falling apart? I need answers!
All these questions kept me from sleeping, or darn near breathing, last night after I watched the promo for Season 3 of “Scandal.”
October 3rd needs to come, like yesterday. And when it does, no one better call me to interrupt the show. Seriously, if Jesus came back, I’d tell him to wait an hour.

Someone grab my holy water, prayer cloth and rosary beads. It just got REAL.
Here are my initial thoughts after seeing the promo:
1. “We need to make a plan!”
I love that instead of consulting with OPA, Liv is in a corner meeting with Fitz. In the Season 2 finale, Olivia told Fitz she couldn’t be his First Lady because OPA needs her. “I’m their gladiator,” she said. Now, she needs Fitz to be her gladiator. “We need to make a plan!” #Olitz is the new gladiator team for this crisis. They’re in it together. Their love seems stronger than ever and they’re working as a unit.
2. “We will gut you and everyone you know!”
Does this mean that Daddy Rowan Pope is coming after Olivia and OPA as well? Olivia is in great danger and so is her team. Hence the need for all that official government staff (which has me on edge). Presidential limos riding through dark alleyways? Navy men accompanying Liv? It’s more than I can take.
Liv practically has her own Secret Service now to keep her safe. And OPA may be dragged into the chaos.
3. “I will pull out your laundry and I will share it with the world.” “Start a Kill Folder on Olivia Pope.”
Cyrus and Mellie are the enemy. Mellie seemed hesitant to put Fitz‘s dirty laundry out there in Season 2 (she held out on Olivia‘s name) and now she’s still threatening to share it. That means she didn’t leak Liv‘s name to the press. Cyrus also wouldn’t have leaked it because it would hurt Fitz and he would never do anything to compromise the administration (and his position in it). Daddy Rowan, however, is determined to destroy #Olitz no matter what it takes, so I believe he’s behind the leak. Still, Cyrus and Mellie are clearly out to get Olivia.
And what the hell does Cyrus mean by “kill folder”?! Jesuses, help us!
*cries*
4. WHAT. DID. YOU. DO?
When Liv storms in on OPA and scolds them like teenagers, you know something went horribly wrong. My mind is racing with possible things they could’ve done. Did Harrison go too far using the black folder Olivia gave him to pull out if her name is leaked? Did Huck resort to his old violent, torturing devices? There’s no telling what OPA could get into without Olivia there to monitor and direct them. They each have the potential to make a bad situation worse.
Help me, holy ghost!
The one thing that did give me solace was Olivia‘s white coat. When she’s in white, she’s got it all under control.
The last time we saw her in a white coat she was strutting away after reading Amanda Tanner for blood and saying “It’s handled.”
Her new structured, sophisticated white coat makes an appearance as Olivia instructs Fitz that they need to come up with a plan. She means business.

Good points, but if there’s anything we’ve learned from Scandal, what looks to be what is happenig isn’t always what’s REALLY hapening! lol
