A Day In The Life: #SmirnoffSorbet Summer Soiree #GlamHeartsSorbet

Happy summer, Glamazons!

My favorite time of year is underway and I have a packed schedule this summer (I gave you guys the scoop on this year’s plans here). As promised, I kicked the season off with a summer soiree courtesy of Smirnoff Sorbet. The event was right on time. I was in dire need of some pampering and a pedicure before I hit the road to New Orleans (more on this later!).

The soiree was held at one of my favorite salons, TenOverTen, in one of the city’s hottest neighborhoods, Tribeca (waves to Jay-Z, Beyonce and Blue). When I walked in, the swanky venue was filled with some of my fave bloggers and friends from The Glam Network, who were indulging in manicures, pedicures and sipping Smirnoff Sorbet Light cocktails.

First thing first, I headed over to the bar as I had traveled miles and miles from Harlem (exaggerating but you get the idea) and was in need of a refreshing drink. It was hard to choose between Smirnoff Sorbet Light‘s three delish flavors — Raspberry Pomegranate, Mango Passion Fruit, and Lemon, they all sound delish — but I eventually settled on pomegranate.

It was a great choice. The drink was light, refreshing, flavorful and fruity but not too sweet. To be honest, I normally don’t drink fruity cocktails because I worry about the calorie count but the great thing about Smirnoff Sorbet is that has less calories than most dessert-inspired vodkas. And that’s a huge plus considering we’re heading into bikini season!

Once I had my cocktail in hand, it was time to get pampered.

I fell head over heels for TenOverTen‘s “Rivington” polish which boasts an electric green hue (top row second from left, available here).

It makes total sense that I love it because I’ve spent many a summer night on Rivington Street at a restaurant or hotel party. It’s one of my favorite blocks in Manhattan.

I got a mani and a pedi, and then had a fun finger walk in the #GlamHeartsSorbet mani cam:

Cute, right?!

What do you think of my polish?

The pampering kept going with massages and delicious made-to-order sushi:

It was so relaxing and a great way to usher in the new season. I especially enjoyed mingling with some of my favorite bloggers: Corals and Cognacs, Pretty Connected, Bows and Sequins, Kitty Bradshaw and Oh So Chic.

And I was happy to catch up with my blogger boos, Danielle of Style and Beauty Doctor and Ty of Gorgeous in Grey:

After I had my fill of sushi and Smirnoff Sorbet cocktails, I walked away with a glamazing gift bag full of goodies that will come handy Memorial Day Weekend!

Love that tote!
