Spring, please get here already!
I just got back from Vegas, Glamazons, and can I tell you? There’s nothing like some luxurious warm weather to lift the spirits. I had a blast rocking my bikini poolside and prancing around with my toes out (in these new fab Prabal Gurung neon heels that I can’t take off) without a care in the world. Meanwhile, there’s snow on the ground in NYC. Le sigh.
One of the trends I can’t wait to rock when the weather warms up is the grid print (also known as the window pane print). It’s super mod, looks so sophisticated and expensive and truly pairs well with anything. I spotted it on the runway at Prada (Resort 2012) and Marni (Spring 2012) and it’s now trickling down to our fave retail stores.
Of course, Glamazons like Anna Wintour, Julia Sarr-Jamois and Solange Knowles have already been spotted rocking it! And all my Glamazons who like mixing prints like Solo, the grid print is made for that! It works well with checkered prints, polka dots or even stripes for a mix-and-match moment.
