When it comes to her manicures, Beyonce has been on a bit of a blue streak lately (as an homage to her adorable and well-dressed daughter, Blue Ivy). For the Carter’s family trip to St. Barths, France, however, the new Mom flaunted a deep shade of red on her nails.
For trips to the beach with Jay-Z and intimate moments singing to Blue, Bey rocked Ginger + Liz‘s “Draw Blood” nail lacquer. The blood red creme shade is refreshingly modern and trendy. Even the name is a nod to the current vampire craze (The caption on the site reads “Watch your back, her claws are out!”).
At the same time, the hue is timeless, serving as a classic bold red shade for vixens like Bey.
Beyonce‘s manicurist, the uber-talented Lisa Logan, gushes about the G+L line on their site: “I fell in love with the G+L collection on first sight! They have new fun colors that I can offer any of my clients! They have what I call “now” colors. I have them lined up next to the other well known polishes and they stand out.” And of course, you know The Glamazons have been fans since forever.
