A Day in The Life: Tiffany & Co. True Love in Pictures Fete with Solange Knowles, Garance Dore and Scott Schuman

Glamazons, in the rush to get ready for New York Fashion Week, it’s easy to forget Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Fortunately, I got a reminder at the launch fete for Tiffany & Co.‘s new exhibit “True Love in Pictures,” on WhatMakesLoveTrue.com.

Shot by noted fashion photographers (Tyra Banks voice) and lovebirds Garance Dore and Scott Schuman, The Sartorialist (above), the exhibit displays beautiful pictures of couples against natural backdrops from the mountains to the forest. And let me tell you, even the worst V-Day hating cynic could have felt the love in the room!

The Tiffany & Co. boutique on Fifth Avenue was transformed with beautiful photographs of lovers flanking the wall. Nothing says love like breathtaking pictures of smiling couples and expensive jewelry, right?

Guests, like our good friend Christina Brown of Love Brown Sugar and Bridgette Bartlett of Black Bridal Bliss, enjoyed hors d’oeurves and delicious cocktails courtesy of Red Rooster while dancing the night away to tunes by DJ Solange Knowles.

I have to say I enjoyed her spinning at Fashion’s Night Out better, though I sang every word to Countdown (and stopped myself from asking to see a blackberry pic of baby Blue Ivy Carter, lol…just kidding. OK I’m serious).

Anyway, Solange gave abundant life in a neon Christopher Kane dress, Fendi colorblock sandals and a CC Skye pink clutch. LOVE!

AND they had the cutest old school photobooth on site! My blogger buddy Christina and I took the opportunity to show off our curly/wavy ‘dos (she big chopped too!). Check out the pic:

Cute, right?

What a blast! If you’re in the V-Day spirit, check out more pics at WhatMakesLoveTrue.com! And stay tuned for more adventures during Fashion Week!

Kisses,

Glamazon Jessica
