Covet List: Vivian Banks & Claire Huxtable T-Shirt

Nothing warms my heart like getting reacquainted with the TV shows we used to watch growing up. In fact, my girl Niki (aka Miss Journalism) and I took a trip down memory lane this week, watching beloved ’90s sitcoms on TVOne. I’m talking: “A Different World,” “Martin,” “Living Single,” and more.

Two of my favorites (and the best TV shows EVER) from that era were “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and “The Cosby Show.” They defined a generation.

I especially loved the moms on both shows: Vivian Banks (Janet Hubert) and Claire Huxtable (Phylicia Rashad). They were beautiful, wise, flawless, sharp-witted and always sophisticated. I still get goosebumps whenever I’m lucky enough to be around Phylicia Rashad; her presence is so regal and her character in “The Cosby Show” is just iconic. And you know I adore the original Aunt Viv!

Anyway, it’s my love for those two characters that made me go crazy for the “Vivian & Clair T-Shirt” on Apartment 349. I first spotted it on Scandalous Beauty‘s Instagram, and the ’90s tween girl in me just had to have it.
