Hey Glamazons! I’ve found THE BEST product to help you keep you from looking like a tired, hot mess in the eye area. Side note: I know, I know. It’s a serious problem about how obsessed I am with eye products. From creams to gels, I’ve pretty much tried it all. But, I felt that it was my Glamazon Beauty Duty to tell you about this one because it’s just that good!
It’s a product called Flash Patches and I’ve been using them for a couple of months now. I was invited to an event at the brand’s public relations office where I got a firsthand account on how they work. When all of us beauty editor/bloggers arrived, we were immediately given our own pair to put on. They are kind of slippery, but once they’re on, they feel very cool to the touch. I could feel my entire under eye area saying “ahhhhh.”

After listening to a brief presentation from the brand, I had to skip out because I was about to be late for #datenight with my bestie boo, Lauren. We decided to take one of those painting classes that everyone talks about and has labeled as a “Basic B*tch” activity, but whatever. It was so fun! Anyways, back to the Flash Patches: I kept them on during my cab ride over, peeled them off and chunked them in the garbage before jetting up a flight of stairs to the class. Lauren immediately wondered where I had been because my skin looked all “fresh and dewy.” This, in beauty girl terms, means #winning when anyone notices how great your skin looks right after you’ve used a new product for the first time.
Since then, I’ve been using them religiously. If you have puffy eyes, they are great for de-puffing. I like to apply them at least 5-10 minutes before I put on my makeup and have noticed that they are a great way to make my under eye area look brighter so I’m usually able to nix the concealer. (This is what I pat on religiously in order to make sure that my face doesn’t look a haggard mess….especially considering that I’m forever running after a two-year-old smh.) Put them underneath your eyes and leave on for 5 minutes. (If you want to leave on longer, that’s fine, too.)
