Glamazons, you all know my obsession with Tracy Reese dresses as there is nothing more demure (the A-line silhouette, the whimsical prints, the feminine colors)! What you don’t know is that while strolling through New York City on a Saturday with nothing on my agenda, whether in midtown or by the Meat-Packing District, I “randomly” stumble upon an Anthropologie store and spend hours trying on dresses and gawking at beautiful statement jewelry. Anthropologie is like an oasis for quality designer pieces and artful accessories. I get lost in there!
Thus, I did virtual backflips down Broadway when I learned of the collaboration of these two fashion giants for Anthropologie‘s “Made In Kind” collection. Seriously, it’s enough to make me want to (almost) empty out my entire Savings account! Can you even?
Tracy Reese‘s capsule collection with Anthropologie consists of seven pieces and will be released on April 27th. It retails from $248 to $348, which is a steal for the designer and will feature her signature retro-feminine flair with renewed inspiration via the gardens at the Frida Kahlo museum.
I was lucky enough to get a Tracy Reese dress as a gift from my old boss (a good friend of the designer’s) and can I tell you it’s one of the most treasured pieces in my wardrobe? It is beautiful, timeless and boasts impeccable construction. In short, a Tracy Reese-designed piece whether from her collaboration with Anthropologie or her eponymous line, is well worth the investment!
